This project was created to warn my audience about the negligence of knowledge. In order to convey my message, I had to get my audience's attention. Thus, I created a metaphorical installation of an abstract form of the Great Library of Alexandria, that is made of light,
and set up in a dark room.
Guy Hendrix Dyas created a concept sketch of the Great Library of Alexandria
for a movie called Agora. This sketch was
a start up point to create my installation.
At first, I analyzed the basic shapes
in the drawing; then I excavated them
to create an individual outline of the basic shape; finally, I combined and merged all
the individual outlines to create one form.
